Professional InterventionistAnswer: Enabling is about enabling them to continue their lifestyle and still use. Such getting an attorney, paying bond money, paying rent, paying tickets, cell phones, ect. Intervention & Treatment is about disabling the using behavior. Start now by setting up an intervention or setting a boundary by letting them know you will pay for nothing ever again except treatment. Have the treatment program admission arranged before setting this boundary.
