Professional InterventionistAnswer: Absolutely, but in most cases a definite stay in a drug or alcohol rehabilitation center is recommended prior to attending 12 step meetings. This enables your loved one to have time for their mind to clear and be able to accept the help that is offered to them in 12 step meetings.
