Who We Are
Intervention MD is an intervention and referral provider with clients and services nationwide. When the partners at Intervention MD were organizing the structure of the intervention and referral services program, we wanted to emphasize the fact that drugs and alcohol were but a symptom of a bigger problem. If we just took drugs and alcohol away through the intervention process, but our treatment providers did not address individuals' larger, underlying problems such as depression, past trauma, or family issues, we would not have done all we could do in the best interest of our clients. For that reason, we developed a strict code of conduct within Intervention MD to make sure that comprehensive, customized interventions and referral tracks could be offered to each person that came to us looking for help with drug and alcohol problems.
Family members and loved ones suffer in different ways as the individual who is addicted, but can have just as much pain as the addictive cycle becomes more and more destructive. We offer a support system during and after the intervention process for friends and family to discuss their feelings and problems and offer solutions and comfort to families and friends that have experienced similar situations.
